Multi-genre festival’s third edition takes place in Mumbai on March 8 and 9
The third edition of Lollapalooza India will take place on March 8 and 9, 2025 in Mumbai, with early bird ticket sales kicking off tomorrow, Sept. 5, 2024 from 12 pm onwards.
Although a venue in Mumbai has not yet been announced, the forthcoming edition of the two-day, multi-genre festival has also pushed its dates back more than a month compared to its usual schedule at the end of January.
Lollapalooza India promises four stages and a total of over 30 artists from India and across the globe. The event is promoted and co-produced by BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment experiential division of entertainment company BookMyShow, along with global producers, Perry Farrell and C3 Presents.
General admission and Lolla Lounge (VIP) tickets will be available for sale from Sept. 5. The festival is also introducing a new ticket tier, Lolla Comfort. A press release adds, “Lolla Comfort offers a dedicated and private space with refreshments for purchase catering to those seeking additional comfort and convenience without the full cost of premium lounge services. Designed with the fan in mind, Lolla Comfort provides comfortable seating, shade, easy access to food and air-conditioned restroom facilities, ensuring a superior experience for all attendees.”
The release adds that attendees can expect “over 20 hours of foot-tapping music across four captivating stages, with high-energy beats, awe-inspiring art installations, trendy merchandise to mark your memories and the unmissable Lolla Food Park set to evoke all your senses.”
Across its previous two editions since launching in January 2023, Lollapalooza India has hosted a total of over 80 international and Indian artists in 2023 and 2024. Headliners for 2024 included legendary artist Sting, pop stars like Halsey, Eric Nam and Lauv, plus acclaimed bands OneRepublic, Royal Blood, Jungle and hip-hop artist Jpegmafia and more.
