Lollapalooza India will return to Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse for its fourth edition on Jan. 24 and 25, 2026, with pre-sale tickets starting Aug. 26, 2025.
While the exclusive pre-sale for RuPay credit card holders starts at 11 am on Aug. 26, general sale of tickets go live from 12 pm on Aug. 28, 2025 on BookMyShow. The festival is slated to announce the lineup of international and Indian artists in the coming weeks.
With this announcement, the upcoming fourth edition of Lollapalooza India makes a return to its original January-end dates after the 2025 edition—headlined by the likes of American punk rockers Green Day, Canadian pop singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes, UK pop artist Louis Tomlinson, EDM artist Zedd, British act Glass Animals, Brazilian DJ-producer Alok and more—was held in March amid Mumbai’s sweltering heat and humidity.
While many noted that the shift to march was because promoters BookMyShow Live brought down pop band Coldplay for historic gigs in Ahmedabad and Mumbai in January this year, there might be some reprieve with the new January date, taking place just ahead of Republic Day.
Past draws at Lollapalooza India editions have included legends like Sting, pop-rock band Imagine Dragons, rock band The Strokes, pop trio the Jonas Brothers, pop stars like Jackson Wang and Eric Nam, rock act Keane, DJ-producers like Diplo, John Summit, and more.
BookMyShow Live is Lollapalooza India’s promoter and co-producer, along with global producers Perry Farrell (formerly of American rock veterans Jane’s Addiction) and C3 Presents.
In addition to kicking off the 2026 campaign, event promoter Live Nation conducted a survey among Lollapalooza India 2025 attendees and found 98 percent “plan to return, year after year” to the festival. Inaugurated in 1991 in Chicago, Lollapalooza has so far been set up in countries like Chile, Brazil, Germany, France, Argentina, Sweden, and India (which started in 2023).
