Magic! To Headline Mood Indigo This December

The Canadian reggae fusion band will play IIT Bombay’s premier festival that has previously hosted Porcupine Tree and Simple Plan

IIT Bombay has officially announced on their social media that Canadian reggae fusion band Magic! will make their India debut headlining this year’s Mood Indigo festival at the IIT Bombay Gymkhana Grounds in Mumbai on December 28th.

After the success of their hit single “Rude” from their 2014 debut album Don’t Kill the Magic, the band topped charts in the U.S. and U.K. and also had plenty of plays in India. The group – comprising vocalist-guitarist Nasri Atweh, keyboardist Mark Pellizzer, bassist Ben Spivak and drummer Alex Tanas – have gone on to release two more records, 2016’s Primary Colours and last year’s Expectations.

While IIT Bombay’s Mood Indigo and Livewire has previously hosted heavier acts like Porcupine Tree, Haken and Leprous, fans can look forward to pop-infused reggae tunes and an enchanting live performance from Magic! this year.
