Starting November 2023 and going all the way up to March 2024, the Mahindra Group have announced dates for their new and long-running events including Independence Rock, Mahindra Blues and more.

It looks like it’s never too early to start planning for music festival season and this time around, the promoters have given everyone an early heads-up for all their events in store by unveiling the calendar for 2023 and 2024.

The recently revived Mahindra Independence Rock takes place on November 4th and 5th, 2023 and while no venue has been announced, it will return to its home in Mumbai. The next month, this year’s Mahindra Kabira Festival returns to Varanasi, taking place between December 15th to 17th, 2023.

The long-running Mahindra Blues Festival sets up once again in Mumbai on February 10th and 11th, 2024, while the second edition of multi-venue, folk/fusion gathering Mahindra Roots Festival is taking place on February 24th and 25th, 2024 in Mumbai. A month from then, the company’s latest annual event, the Mahindra Percussion Festival, also returns for its second edition in Bengaluru on March 23rd, 2024, with the venue yet to be announced.

Another cultural festival with music as a key element, Mahindra Sanatkada Lucknow, will take place from February 2nd to 6th, 2024. For their theater followers, the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards has also been announced to take place from March 14th to 20th, 2024. Venue, lineup and ticket details are awaited for all events from the organizers.

Mahindra Group’s cultural outreach vice president Jay Shah invoked the importance of promoting different aspects of Indian culture, including ones that “remain unexplored, particularly from the lens of the youth.” He added in his statement, “We are thrilled to announce another year of power-packed cultural festivals and we hope it will drum up similar support and a loyal following for the years to come.”
