The singer-songwriter says, ‘NEXA Music is great for promoting original English music artists’
Recently, Chennai-based musician Orlando Ambrose was handpicked to be part of NEXA Music’s Top 24, a nationwide hunt for original English-language artists.
The singer-songwriter tells us that he is “privileged to be a part” of the competition. He adds, “I think it can kick start a new revolution in original English songwriting in India. I have been writing original English music for as long as I can remember, but never really pursued [it] because there was no platform. Now, this encourages me to write more.”
Being part of NEXA Music also means having the chance to work alongside composers like A.R. Rahman and Clinton Cerejo. On this opportunity, Ambrose says, “[I am] all excited to work with these great legends. They can turn my music into something magical.
