The gig season in India just got louder. American thrash metal giants Megadeth will be returning to India for the second time to headline the Bacardi NH7 Weekender in New Delhi on October 14th. The band last played in the country four year ago for Rock ‘n India in Bengaluru, where Metallica headlined last year and Slayer will headline next month.

The multi-award winning band released their 13th studio album called Th1rt3en last year. Recently the band also announced a reissue of their 1992 album Countdown to Extinction that would be followed by a two-month long US tour this November. Bassist David Ellesfon expressed his “excitement about returning to India. With the new album Th1rt3en and the recent 20th Anniversary of Countdown To Extinction tours we will be sure to have an extensive and varied song list for our fans to enjoy.”
