Thrash metal giants Metallica announced the dates for their first Indian tour on their website early yesterday. The first gig will be in Gurgaon on October 28, 2011 as part of F1 Rocks, celebrating the inaugural Formula 1 Grand Prix to be held in India. This will be followed by a slot at Bengaluru’s Palace Grounds on October 30, 2011 as part of the Sonisphere Festival’s first Indian edition.
Tickets go on sale on www.ticketgenie.in and www.dnanetworks.com on May 4. We will keep you posted with more information as and when it happens.
