MÜNE Returns with ‘Better With You’ and Ultra Music Deal

Coming from a beat up old computer setup for his tunes to finally upgrading his gear, Indore-based producer MÜNE aka Pranay Sharma had also been slogging his way through in terms of finding ato release his music. After more than a year of sending his demos and music, American mainstay electronic label Ultra Music has put out his latest single “Better With You,” featuring British indie-folk artist Tors. 

Signed in May to Ultra Music, the young producer understandably says the feeling of striking a deal with a big label was unreal. “[It] was my dream label since I saw that name on [late electronic music producer-DJ] Avicii’s song art and then him performing at Ultra Festival. It was one of my dreams come true and honestly I didn’t even sleep for two days ’cause I wasn’t believing it,” Sharma adds. The acoustic guitar-aided buoyant track is the first of more to come out on Ultra. The label’s artists and repertoire (A&R) in-charge for Europe, Paul Arnold mentions that it never really matters where an artist is from or what language they choose. Arnold says of MÜNE, “His music, it feels natural, he has an ear for melody and [we] believe he is at the very beginning of his musical journey which will be inspired from what he has been through before.” 

With a fresh sense of purpose now — and the fact that he can work much faster on his newer production setup — there’s more music coming up from MÜNE. Sharma says, “I’ve already got one more track set for release which is going to be out in 2021 and more are in the works. I’m just excited for everything and hope people feel it.”
