British alt-rockers push further into dubstep wubs
Muse have unveiled “Madness,” the first single from their upcoming album The 2nd Law. Like another recently revealed cut “Unsustainable,” the track finds the British alt-rockers exploring a dubstep sound. This time, though, Muse swap bombastic bass brutality for wubby subtleties as Matthew Bellamy croons over the surprisingly gentle pop track.
“We are defined by the fact that we can’t be defined by anybody,” Bellamy said about the changes in the band’s sound. The 2nd Law is due October 2nd.
