NCT 127 will be back with new music next month. Officially announced by their label SM Entertainment, the South Korean group is scheduled to return with their fourth repackaged album Ay-Yo on January 30th. The announcement comes two days after the group’s leader, Taeyong, shared the information via the fan messaging app Bubble: “The promotions will be held from January 6th and January 30th is our release date,” the rapper revealed.

Ay-Yo follows NCT 127’s September 2022 LP 2Baddies. Fronted by the titular and powerful hip-hop dance track underlined by the group’s signature futuristic synth and bass sound, the album was a solid showcase of songs that accentuated NCT 127’s vocal and rap prowess. Through an assortment of genres (primarily hip-hop, pop, and R&B) 2Baddies further cemented NCT 127’s dominance nationally and internationally, selling over 1.5 million copies.

Expanding their ongoing second world tour, Neo City- The Link, NCT 127 will embark on a nine-city North and South America tour. Covering nine concerts in seven cities, the group will kick off the tour in Chicago on January 9th and wrap up the leg in Mexico City on January 28th. Other cities the group will be performing in include Houston, Atlanta, Sao Paulo, Santiago and Bogota. So far, NCT 127 has brought Neo City- The Link to Seoul, Japan, Southeast Asia and two cities in the U.S. ( Los Angeles and Newark).
