The latest collection of images in a series called As If Nothing Happened from Istanbul-based photographer Alper Yesiltas showcases celebrities who have passed away and what they would look like if they were still alive today.

Using AI technology to create the pieces, Yesiltas acknowledged that the tech allowed him to believe that anything is possible. According to reports, Yesiltas used an intelligence photo enhancer software and photo editing programs to create the images.

The series includes major celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Princess Diana, Elvis Presley, Heath Ledger, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Tupac, Freddie Mercury, Jimi Hendrix and Bruce Lee.

In a social media post, Yesiltas said, “Behind this project lies the question of ‘how would people look if some great events had not happened to them.’ I look forward to your feedback and suggestions.”
