In a statement, the artists said, “’Kyun Tu’ is an experimental collaboration that embodies the helplessness of modern relationships.”

Nivé – “ADHD”

In a statement, Nivé said, “It is a song with poetic lyrics about my inner voice (a dream I had) helping me through my mental health issues.”

Sly Verity – Let’s Get Sly

Pune blues-rockers Sly Verity recently released their three-track debut EP Let’s Get Sly. The group showcase plenty of colorful guitar work on the title track before shifting neatly into the slow blues offering “Roses and Cigarettes.” The record then closes with the fiery rock number “Daddy.” In a statement, the band said, “The best place to listen to both blues and rock music is and always has been live. Add to that, a band that feeds off the energy of the crowd to improvise and react to each other in the moment, and you have a broken sort of perfection that cannot be faked. Let’s Get Sly captures exactly that.”

Saurav Bhardwaj – “Jaane Kyun”

New Delhi singer-songwriter Saurav Bhardwaj’s newest single is the breezy R&B pop tune entitled “Jaane Kyun.” The song includes lush guitar parts, electronic elements as well as Bhardwaj’s mellifluous vocals. The artist said in a statement, “The warm and comforting melody of ‘Jaane Kyun’ will take you on a road trip along the coast.”

Adyty Anand, Aadil Marya, Fu Kesh – “Highs and Lows”

Pop artist Adyty Anand teamed up with fellow artists Aadil Marya and Fu Kesh to craft her new single “Highs and Lows.” The pop-leaning song features moody soundscapes as Anand’s emotive vocals lift the track quite well. In a statement, she said, “Lyrically the lines that best describe the track is, ‘I was covered in grey, you were dripping rainbow, got me vibing so fine no one better than us two.’”

Bishwadeep Sikder – Discrete

On his debut instrumental EP Discrete, Kolkata guitarist Bishwadeep Sikder gets gritty with elements of metal, jazz and fusion across five splendid tracks. The musician’s fretwork particularly stands out for its dexterity, melodies and precision. In a statement, he said, “Discrete is a culmination of thoughts and a roller coaster of emotions that a person goes through during his or her lifetime. The EP portrays different contexts and how the same thought can be perceived differently in each context, which in turn affects one’s decisions.”

Tanmaya – Tere Liye

New Delhi singer-songwriter Tanmaya displays all sorts of emotions on her four-track debut EP Tere Liye. The record showcases her impressive vocal chops while sonically the artist covers dark pop soundscapes. In a statement, she said, “Tere Liye is a dedication to lovers from lovers. It includes the whirlwind of emotions that we feel when we are separated from the one person we want to be with the most.”

Swaraag, Asif Urra – “Yun Sawarna”

Rajasthan folk-fusion outfit Swaraag’s latest release features singer Asif Urra on the upbeat track “Yun Sawarna.” The song includes a groovy bass line as well as vintage folk vocals that carry the track. In a statement, the band said, “’Yun Sawarna’ is based on ancient Arabic folklore where a man usually gets lost in a desert and sees weird things happening to him.”
