Hanita Bhambri – “Gir Ke Uth Padenge Hum”

New Delhi singer-songwriter Hanita Bhambri’s latest single is the soothing “Gir Ke Uth Padenge Hum.” The country-pop song includes plucked acoustic guitar parts, twangy banjo playing, a relaxed groove and Bhambri’s optimistic vocals. A press statement said, “’Gir Ke Uth Padenge Hum’ is a pick-me-up song that emphasizes on the feeling of hope and a never give up attitude. The song is a reminder to everyone that no matter how many times life beats you down, you can get back up again and start over.”

Kirdaar – “Banjaare”

Mumbai-based pop-rock band Kirdaar’s newest offering comes in the shape of their jumpy track “Banjaare.” The upbeat song features plenty of dynamics, elaborate instrumental sections, brisk vocals and more. In a statement, the band said, “The theme of this song is the celebration of one’s journey which stems from the reflections each of the band members had during their travels, both together as a band, and individually. It’s about reveling in the moment, while on the road, with no particular destination in mind. ‘Banjaare’ captures the essence of a traveler or nomad who finds comfort in rivers, mountains, waterfalls, and the natural world. This track offers a salute to the explorers and their longing for discovery- metaphorically and literally.”

Daira – “Bhaari Nasha”

Mumbai rock outfit Daira have returned with a brand new single called “Bhaari Nasha.” The group traverses a somber sound across the track, with playful percussion parts, lushly picked guitar work, a trumpet solo as well as a stellar vocal performance. The band has also released a video of them performing the song in Manali to accompany the track. In a statement, the band said, “‘Bhaari Nasha’ which literally means heavy intoxication is a powerful and thought-provoking song which takes a look at humanity’s constant quest for a perfect world. The lyrics touch on the futility of seeking perfection, urging listeners to embrace life’s imperfections.”
