American experimental-rock band Faith No More has released a new single titled “Superhero.” A punk-style drum beat-laden track with heavy-metal vocals and riffs, “Superhero” will be featured in their upcoming 10-track, goth album Sol Invictus, which is slated for release on March 19th, 2015, along with their previous single “Motherfucker.” The album has been produced by the band’s bassist Bill Gould, who was a fan of Marvel Comics characters such Silver Surfer and Nova, which probably served as a starting point for the song “Superhero.”
