The makers of Newton are back with another pressing drama starring Vidya Balan. In Sherni, we see a righteous forest officer (played by Balan) trying to find a middle ground between a man-animal conflict when a disturbed tigress displaces the peace of a local forest. A struggle between man-made and natural obstacles, Balan’s character goes out of her way to control the mayhem.

Sunflower
Making his debut on the OTT platform with web series Sunflower, actor-comedian Sunil Grover plays the role of Sonu, an unassuming yet somewhat freakish man who gets entangled in a murder case in the Sunflower residential society. The trailer of this Vikas Bahl creation itself is a quirky mix of giggles and eyebrow raises.

Ardha Shathabdham
Directed by Ravindra Pulle, Ardha Shathabdham is a Telugu action-thriller film starring Karthik Rathnam, Navin Chandra and Krishna Priya as protagonists. An Aha Exclusive, this deep-layered story aims to find justice from the corrupt caste system and communal hatred as two lovers test their fates and go against the norms of society.

Skater Girl
Set in rural Rajasthan, Skater Girl is written and directed by Manjari Makijany. It is the first Indian film to be made on skateboarding. Skater Girl follows the story of a teen girl who discovers her unconditional love for skating. Her passion brings a new ray of hope despite the never-ending travails of gender norms. Eventually, the skateboarding youth paint the entire village a rainbow of fun and frolic.

Jagame Thanthiram
The ever-surprising Dhanush is back with a high octane crime drama directed by Karthik Subbaraj, where he plays Suruli, a reckless Tamil gangster who ends up on the streets of London warding off British goons. Suruli’s wit and charm combined with a gangster getup and comedic popcorns that are masterfully embedded across the trailer definitely bring a unique experience to the table.
