Randy Blythe Arrested For Murder

The Lamb of God vocalist has been charged with manslaughter in Czech Republic

Randy Blythe, frontman of American metal band Lamb of God, has been arrested and charged with manslaughter in the CzechRepublic. Sources say he was picked up late on June 28th in Pragueby the police, ahead of the band’s scheduled gig at Hard Rock Café in the city. 

According to reports, Blythe was arrested on charges framed for an incident in 2010 that occurred during the band’s performance at Club Abaton in the city. A fan jumped on stage and ended up in a tussle with Blythe and was seriously injured. Later in 2010, the fan succumbed to his injuries. 

The band members of Lamb of God are still in Prague according to the band’s public relations representative Maria Ferrero. “Blythe has been wrongfully accused, lawyers are dealing with it, and we expect him to be fully exonerated soon,” she said. 

Fans have taken to Twitter to show their support for the band under the hashtag #FreeRandyBlythe. Blythe is a Twitter regular and has a large fan following on the social networking website
