Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have finalized their divorce, with the former couple agreeing to waive alimony and child support payments, according to online court records.
The divorce was finalized Tuesday, Jan. 6, in Nashville court just over three months after Kidman and Urban announced their separation. The couple were married in June 2006 and were together for 19 years before Kidman filed for divorce on Sept. 30, citing irreconcilable differences.
According to People, the divorce settlement stipulates that both parties will be responsible for their own legal fees and expenses. It also lays out a parenting plan for the couple’s two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, both of whom will primarily reside with Kidman.
Both parents will maintain joint responsibility for major decisions in their daughters’ lives. The agreement also states that Kidman and Urban “will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent,” and “will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.”
Reps for Kidman and Urban did not immediately return Rolling Stone’s requests for comment.
Kidman appeared in one film last year, Holland, while also serving as an executive producer on the Australian TV show The Last Anniversary. She’s set to appear in several projects this year, including Practical Magic 2, and two TV shows, Scarpetta and Margo’s Got Money Troubles.
As for Urban, he released his most recent album, High, in 2024. He spent much of last year touring North America, with his his trek ending in mid-October.
