No Doubt Will Reunite for Coachella 2024 for First Time in Nearly 10 Years

Blur and Sublime are also set to perform at this year's festival

After nearly a decade since the Anaheim pop-ska group performed together, No Doubt will be returning to the stage for Coachella 2024.

The news was announced on Tuesday with the release of the annual festival’s lineup, which included Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat listed as headliners. The event will also include Blur’s first show in the U.S. in nine years, and also see Sublime reunite with Bradley Nowell’s son Jakob as frontmam.

While the lineup didn’t specify which band members of No Doubt would be reuniting, the group teased their reunion earlier on Tuesday on social media. The clip began with Stefani taking a trip down memory lane and sharing artwork from 1995’s album Beacon Street Collection. Feeling nostalgic, the vocalist messaged bassist Tony Kanal and prompted him to get the rest of the crew on a call. With the full quartet — including guitarist Tom Dumont, and drummer Adrian Young — on video chat, Stefani asked, “What are we doing? Why do we not hang out?” Then finally, after a bit of banter, each member agreed that a proper reunion was in order.

Prior to her upcoming headlining slot, Del Rey also appeared to tease a return to Coachella on her Instagram on News Years day, posting a picture from the 2014 performance alongside the audio for her song “Coachella — Woodstock in My Mind.”

Coachella 2024 is set to take place in Indio, California on the weekends of April 12 through 14 and April 19 to 21. The festival will feature top artists including Ice Spice, Lil Uzi Vert and Deftones; heavy-hitters from the Latin music world are also playing, including J Balvin and Peso Pluma, and Bizarrap, continuing a trend of Latin artists performing at Coachella.
