The Mumbai singer-songwriter shares with us songs she’s got on loop including those by Chance the Rapper, Anderson .Paak and more
I’ve been listening to this entire album for a while now. I first heard it during a very personal time and now this reminds me of how I pulled through at that time, and no matter what I’m going through I’ll get through it. It’s my victory album.
This has been looped in my head for the longest time. Simplistic but so hooky, and just tasteful. Plus the “fuck you” bit is a good vocal run exercise (laughs).
Such a feel good song. Vocals and vibes are just so smooth and on point.
I have obsessed over this song. Over the groove, rhythm of his vocals, the melody, the lyrics, everything. Such intelligent songwriting. Long term favorite.
I love singing this song. This R&B space is something I’m really looking at getting into. Songs like this one and “Goodie Bag” are that kind of music that you play once you’ve worked out all day, you’ve been super productive and you reward yourself with some down time. Best!
