Null Friction is a grunge rock band from Chennai, formed in 2005. This three piece act has always followed the DIY ethic of music making. After four years of playing live shows, the band released their debut album in Madras in 2009. The band has played over a hundred shows in India, U.S.A. and Canada.
The band consists of Abhishek Singhal (bass), Ansh Sanyal (drums), and Shreyans Jha (vocals and guitars). Following the DIY route, the band released their self-produced album, “Madras” in 2009. Null Friction has played two-country wide tours and over a hundred independent shows till date in India, Canada, and the United States.
