Afrojack, a regular in India by now, returns to headline the festival, while Lost Stories will perform on the back of releasing their new folk-informed EP Jogan/Preet. Kayan, one of the more sought after artists for her neo-soul/pop live band performances as well as high-energy DJ sets, will be behind the decks at OnePlus AI Music Festival. .
Also on the lineup is Sweden’s Diorange, whose multi-genre and multilingual approach to sound has garnered him millions of streams across platforms, including his version of A.R. Rahman and Nooran Sisters’ song “Ali Ali.” He makes a quick return to India, following his debut tour of the country in October 2023.
The festival comes on the back of the online launch of the OnePlus AI Music Studio. It’s described in a press release as a “transformative space where artistic dreams take flight, providing an immersive environment for music enthusiasts to explore their creative potential. Offering an array of genres, including rap, hip-hop, and EDM, this avant-garde tool enables users to become composers in their own right.”
It’s not the first time OnePlus has had a music festival, though. In 2019, they hosted a massive day-long festival at D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, headlined by pop stars like Katy Perry and Dua Lipa.
With tickets on sale now, the tech brand promises “more updates and surprises as the event approaches.” Tickets are priced at ₹699 at early bird sales, with phase 1 tickets soon to begin selling at ₹899. Super fan zone tickets with unlimited beverages and special area access are on sale from ₹3,999 onwards.
