OPPO Enco X True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earphone Takes Music Experience to a Higher Orbit

A decade ago, the mobile phone was primarily an instrument just for telephone calls and text messages. Things have changed dramatically since then.

The exploding popularity of pictures and video-oriented social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram etc , the arrival of audio streaming platforms like Spotify, Gaana, Apple Music et al., and the increased use of video calls have transformed not just the use of mobile phones, but also the phone itself.

Camera and audio capabilities are the most prized features in any smartphone these days.  And OPPO’s success worldwide is directly linked to the cutting-edge technology it has consistently employed to enhance the camera experience in its phones with every passing year.

While OPPO’s tech prowess in imaging is well-known, it has been equally at the forefront of using audio technology innovation. The new OPPO Enco X True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earphones is the best example. A range of new technologies makes it a premium quality earphone for almost everyone — from sweaty joggers to committed gym rats, from couch potatoes transfixed by music or watching movies on their phones, to those who are fans of podcasts and audiobooks.

OPPO sought out the best partner in the world to help co-create this flagship earphones.
Denmark’s Dynaudio  is a world leader in premium speakers for home, workspace and even luxury cars like Volkswagen Phaeton and the Bugatti Veyron. Daniel Emonts, creator of Dynaudio’s best known audio series like Evidence, Contour, Evoke and Emit, helped tune the OPPO Enco X with the primary focus of balancing the distribution of low, mid, and high tones. The result is a perfectly balanced hi-fi audio experience that captures every musical note with incredible precision.

The earphone’s listening experience is further enhanced by the innovative Active Noise Cancellation technology, driven by a dual-core Bluetooth noise reduction chip. It comes with four settings for the noise cancellation: max noise cancellation for maximum audio enjoyment during peak-hour city travel; a second mode to soften noise in café or office environments; transparency mode when you want to be aware of your surroundings without taking off your earphones; and a setting to turn off noise cancellation.

The earphone uses two other technologies to augment the user experience. OPPO’s proprietary DBEE 3.0 Acoustic System, and the mid-low frequency triple-layer composite dynamic driver. It ensures a natural and seamless fusion of mid-high and mid-bass, allowing the user to experience the sound with all its nuances. Also, LHDC (Low latency and High-Definition Audio Codec), a coding technology, ensures that the wireless transmission (via Blue Tooth) is rich in details including the low frequencies.

Further, the triple-mic noise reduction design ensures better quality reception of phone calls as well. It consists of three highly sensitive microphones, two of which are out-of-ear microphones deployed for beamforming. This technique ensures that the wireless signal is concentrated and targeted. It ensures that the earphones accurately recognizes the user’s voice and eliminates the surrounding noise. The in-ear microphone picks up the voice as transmitted through the inner ear canal with very little background noise.

OPPO Enco X
True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earphones comes in an ergonomically designed charging case that fits the in the palm. It inherits the streamlined curvature design of OPPO’s first-generation MP3 X3. Its unique aesthetic is a tribute to the brand’s audiovisual heritage. The case can be charged wirelessly and supports reverse charging from the phone, ensuring minimal downtime for the earphones.

The OPPO Enco X True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earphones are best used with a smartphone. It performs best when used with an OPPO smartphone.
