Paralights is the glitch/electronica project of producer Ayan De, started in 2012, who is best known for producing for bands such as alt punks Blek, alt metal band Goddess Gagged and punk band The Riot Peddlers, among others. His music delivers tunes that combine glitchy beats with instrumental loops that include guitars and drums. In November 2012, he released his debut five-track EP, Scores For Your Background, for free download. He also collaborated with future garage/IDM artist, Sandunes on the track “Motionsphere.” He performed a handful of gigs in Mumbai so far. His influences include the likes of prog rock bands Karnivool and Porcupine Tree.
