In a bizarre turn of events after the Grammys, Beatles co-founder Paul McCartney, American singer-songwriter Beck and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins were reportedly denied entry to rapper Tyga’s party at the Argyle in Hollywood.
TMZ caught the entire exchange on camera where, after being denied entry twice, McCartney can be heard lightheartedly exclaiming, “How VIP do we gotta get?” before telling Beck, “We need another hit.”
McCartney, Beck and Hawkins were in fact, headed to a party hosted by “Uptown Funk” producer Mark Ronson for Republic Records, which was taking place in a club close to the Argyle.
Tyga claimed he was not aware of the incident at all and later tweeted, “Why would I deny @PaulMcCartney? He’s a legend. I don’t control the door. I had no knowledge SIR PAUL was there. I just performed and left.”
