Psych and alternative band Peter Cat Recording Co. are supporting Texas rock trio Khruangbin on their upcoming A La Sala North America tour, performing nine shows in five cities in August 2024.

Peter Cat Recording Co. will perform on August 15th and 16th at Hearst Greek Theatre in California, followed by August 18th and 19th in Troutdale, Oregon, August 21st and 22nd at the Kettlehouse Amphitheatre in Montana and on August 24th in Salt Lake City, Utah. The run of shows wraps up with the Indian band performing at the revered Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado alongside Khruangbin, on August 27th and 28th.

The announcement comes as Peter Cat wraps up Australia and New Zealand shows, making them one of the most traveled Indian indie bands right now. Khruangbin, who have performed in India in 2017 and 2018, released their lead single “A Love International” earlier this month, announcing their latest album A La Sala.

Other support artists with Khruangbin on the 2024 tour include Pakistani artist Arooj Aftab (in September and October), Canadian act Men I Trust (in New York in September), plus the likes of Hermanos Gutierrez (in April) and John Carroll Kirby (in May). Khruangbin kick off the A La Sala North America tour with a set at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California on April 14th, with a second set on April 21st.

Peter Cat Recording Co., for their part, have already been on a sold-out North America tour early in 2023 – including a set at BottleRock Napa Valley music festival in May – followed by a European run of shows last year as well.
