Photos: Behind The Scenes With Ganesh Talkies

The Kolkata pop rock band’s vocalist Suyasha Sengupta warns us that we may need sunglasses to view these photos from the video shoot of their most FM-friendly track “Item Song.” The video features actress Rii Sen, model Sneha Ghosh, friends and neighbors of the art and video director Ayushman Mitra. “The idea was to incorporate his art with our music and create something very unique,” says Sengupta adding, “”˜Item Song’, essentially a fun song, is a take on the usual ”˜abala naari meets prince charming who saves her from distress’ scene in Bollywood movies. But here, in this video, the women are strong, confident of their sexuality and are the ones making passes at men or dominating them. The idea is that anything or anybody can be an item bomb.”
