What went down at the latest edition of Bomb Thursdays

That a crowd shows up for a gig in the North Mumbai suburb of Andheri is a big deal. That the crowd showed up despite it being one of the wettest days this monsoon is a feat. Over 200 people made it to the most recent edition of BOMB Thursdays, making it the most attended gig of the fortnightly series as yet. Music enthusiasts had good reason to have not missed the gig – Kolkata post punk band were making their Mumbai debut, Mumbai band Spud In The Box were gigging with their brand new drummer Joshua Singh, The Lightyears Explode, also from Mumbai, promised to bring the house down as always and producer Ayan De’s solo project Paralights was slated to bring the night to a close with some mellow, trippy EDM.Â
