Just as all the collaboration-studded first day of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender drew to a close, Day 2 brought in international acts such as Australian indie rock duo Big Scary and introduced many to bands such as Chennai post-punk quartet Adam and the Fish-eyed Poets, Bengaluru carnatic rockers Agam and fresh acts from the electronica scene including Mumbai’s future-garage artist Sandunes.

The evening clearly belonged to two artists, depending on which stage you visited for the final acts. Over at the Jack & Jones Other Stage, Roysten Abel’s The Manganiyar Seduction drew in swarms of people, attentively taking in the audio-visual arrangement of around 38 Rajasthani folk artists.

The Bacardi Black Rock Arena, on the other hand, belonged to the Bombay Metal Project. Assembling an army of 15 members from bands including Bhayanak Maut, Scribe, Zygnema, Pangea and Goddess Gagged, the mosh pit never stopped as they played cover songs from bands who had influenced them. The little vignette in the beginning showed exactly how proud their parents were of their metalhead offspring, who went on to create some damage at the Black Rock Arena.
