Electronic artists such as Spacejams, Stalvart John, Carissa, MadStarBase and more made the festival groove

If there’s one thing that most musicians and fans alike were missing for the past one year, it was the festival atmosphere. Over at the Nahargarh Ranthambore in Rajasthan, Ray-Ban Studios partnered with the debut edition of Magnetic Fields Nomads (the more exclusive, luxuriant iteration of the annual music festival in Alsisar) to bring back a celebratory music experience, held between March 19th and 21st.
True to the Magnetic Fields stamp, Nomads led with the Ray-Ban Studios Pool Party in the day, a Ray-Ban Studios Den performance space after sunset, and a special in-house Track Lab for musicians to jam. Amid Rajasthani hospitality, cutting edge electronic music and more, performances at these spaces included seasoned DJ-producers such as MoCity, Stalvart John, Spacejams and more.
A oft-visited space at the festival was the Ray-Ban Studios Hub, which housed the Track Lab for spontaneous music making (visited by everyone from New Delhi producer-singer Lifafa to DJ Nash and more) as well as a photo booth for making and preserving future memories.

The Ray-Ban Studios Pool Party ran from noon until sunset, serving up music that would ease attendees into the day and keep them moving. Between Saturday and Sunday, Kochi/Bengaluru DJ-producer Stalvart John transplanted the Dynamite Disco Club vibe to Nahargarh, aided by fellow Bengaluru-based DJ-producers Unnayaana and Carissa. New Delhi-based Girls Night Out aka Vijayant Singh had his second performance of Nomads at the Ray-Ban Studios Pool Party, serving up punchy house, wave, disco, EBM, new beat and techno.
By dusk and nightfall, the Ray-Ban Studios Den kicked off with the true essence of an afterhours underground electronic club vibe. The primal music that drew big numbers to the Ray-Ban Studios Den was selected and spun by producer-DJs such as Shireen, Chhabb and DJ MoCity. Also taking things into overdrive were can’t-fail sets by party-starters such as NASH, Magnetic Fields regular Spacejams and topsy-turvy set from New Delhi duo MadStarBase, who all ensured that Ray-Ban Studios and Magnetic Fields Nomads powered on well into the early morning, as is tradition at the original festival as well.
