The veteran rocker and his 11-member band performed a two-hour long memorable set in Bengaluru
Barely a few days after Slayer performed in Bengaluru, 65-year-old veteran rocker Carlos Santana performed an exhilarating two-hour plus set at the Vladivar Rock ‘N India show at Bhartiya City, Thanisandra Road, Bengaluru on October 26th. Indus Creed opened the evening with a stellar set. Santana’s 11-member band on stage, which included drummer Dennis Chambers, bassist Benny Rietveld, vocalist Andy Vargas, tenor vocalist Tony Lindsay, trombonist Jeff Cressman, trumpeter Bill Ortiz, percussionist Raul Rekow and drummer Karl Perazzo, held the audience spellbound. Santana’s wife, drummer Cindy Blackman too joined him on stage for a jam. Blackman has previously played drums for American rocker Lenny Kravitz.Â
