The thrash metal giants powered through a one-hour 40 minute set that packed in tracks from their last album, World Painted Blood
In a recent interview with ROLLING STONE India ahead of their concert in India, Slayer guitarist Kerry King had said: “I can’t believe it’s taken us 30 years to get there but we’re very excited to go. And if they think they’ve seen thrash before, they haven’t. It’s going to be a party for everybody and I can’t wait to be there.” King wasn’t kidding. Their one-hour 40 minute explosive set at the Vladivar Rock ’N India show in Bhartiya City, Bengaluru in front of 5,000 screaming fans was just that. Slayer performed songs from their last album, World Painted Blood. Bengaluru metallers Inner Sanctum and Mumbai metal act Brahma opened the show.
