The fourth edition of Rolling Stone Metal Awards packed in some of the best performances we’ve seen by metal bands in recent years. Guwahati’s Rectified Spirit, who played their debut gig in Mumbai, delivered a tight, impressive opening set were followed by Delhi’s 1833 AD, who brought to stage some new material. By the time Mumbai’s Devoid took to stage, the audience was stoked for the much-hyped stage diving and crowd surfing dares that were thrown at them ahead of the show. Scribe closed the set with one of their best performances until date, raising the bar for bands across the country as they debuted both a new vocalist in Gagan Gill and spanking new material.
