The 12th edition of music, food and wine festival SulaFest was its biggest yet. The lineup was eclectic and exciting, featuring sets by the likes of Mumbai rapper Divine, band Jungle, Bollywood music director Shankar Mahedevan and many more.

Other artists that made their mark at the show included U.K. producer Sasha, electronica artist Oona Dahl, American/Israeli hip-hop/funk act Lucille Crew, Mumbai-based electronica duo Paraphoniks, alt-rock band Mother’s Cake and producer Ankytrixx. Apart from the fest’s power-packed lineup, attendees got to hang out at numerous food stalls, cocktail bars and take part in wine tasting, wine stomping and post with various art installations.

We got to catch a glimpse of U.K. gypsy and ska band, Hallouminati from backstage who turned out to be the dark horse of the festival with their blends of Middle Eastern instrumentals with reggae and rock.

Producer and electronica artist Nikhil Chinapa took over at the Atmasphere stage on Day One with confident and breezy techno.

Lucille Crew’s Gal De Paz brought in infectious bouts of energy during the band’s eclectic set.

American band Jungle’s Tom McFarland [L] and Josh Lloyd-Watson led an impossibly smooth performance at SulaFest 2019, closing Day One on notes of elegant and feel-good funk.

Jungle’s stage set up was mesmerizing and easily the best one at the festival this year.

The Sula Bazaar was a colorful place to catch a breath between sets.

Mumbai hip-hop superstar Divine took the stage at SulaFest for just 3o minutes to thunderous applause from a crowd of nearly 5000, powering his way through several of his hit originals as well as ‘Gully Boy”s soundtrack.

Music director, composer and singer Shankar Mahedevan closed the festival as the final headliner on Day Two, ending the event to immense fanfare from Bollywood enthusiasts.
