Children Of Bodom
Children of Bodom, Cypher16, The Raghu Dixit Project and Shaa’ir + Func were among the top bands at Jayamahal Palace in Bengaluru for the three-day Kingfisher Great Indian October Fest. While metalheads have welcomed a good downpour once in a while, this time around, the organizers, who were unprepared, hurriedly set up mini-gazebos to cover the equipment and artists to ensure that the show went on the last day of the festival, October 14th. The last-minute prepping also resulted in cutting down Raghu Dixit’s set to three songs. Other artists such as Thermal and a Quarter, Shankar Tucker, Slain and Benny Dayal had to call off their performances. That meant the day’s first acts, Bull Engine and Fringe Pop, inadvertently opened for headliners Dixit and Bodom.Â
