The sixth edition of the multi-genre three-day event brought in the likes of Blessing 'Bled' Chimanga, Farhan Akhtar, Kamakshi Khanna and more
Indian and international folk, rock and pop artists made their way down to Udaipur for the sixth edition of the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival, held between December 16th to 18th at various venues across the cities.
The Udaipur World Music Festival was among the last live events to take place pre-pandemic, held previously in February 2020. Now, in their comeback edition, they enlisted familiar and shining names from across the world. That included Portuguese duo Senza, Zimbabwe’s energetic star Blessing ‘Bled’ Chimanga and his band, transnational act Electric Percussion Orchestra aka EPO, rocker Farhan Akhtar and his live ensemble, Bengaluru-based favorites Parvaaz, folk-fusion act Raghu Dixit Project, singer-songwriter Kamakshi Khanna, rapper Naveen Koomar‘s collaboration with producer Vedang, singer-composer Amrit Ramnath, fusion act Albaluna and several others.
The festival also included a comeback from artists like Dhruv Visvanath, who took to the stage for the first time in nearly three years, accompanied by violinist-producer Ajay Jayanthi and singer-composer and multi-instrumentalist Ankit Dayal. Check out all the action below.
