Australian prog rock favorite Plini will return to India for his first set of shows in the country following the pandemic, performing at the second edition of LiveBox Festival in Mumbai on September 24th.

The guitarist-producer, best known for his euphoric, journeying instrumental rock, appears at the day-long festival by ticketing and art community platform Skillbox alongside the likes of singer-songwriter Taba Chake, rock band The Yellow Diary, singer-songwriter Tanmaya Bhatnagar, indie act Corner Cafe Chronicles and the live debut of producer Pina Colada Blues.

Before heading off on his autumn tour through Europe, Plini — who released his album Impulse Voices in 2020 — will stop by India for the first time since early 2019. The artist said on Instagram, “MUMBAI FRIENDS 🤗 see you next month at @liveboxindia festival! tickets on sale now via @skillboxofficial [sic].” Additional tour dates for Plini are yet to be announced.

The LiveBox Festival sets up in Mumbai next month following the inaugural edition in Bengaluru in July. That edition’s lineup boasted top-line indie artists such as Peter Cat Recording Co., Parekh & Singh, Raman Negi, Jatayu and Space Is All We Have.

With early bird tickets for LiveBox Festival in Mumbai already sold out, phase 1 tickets for the event are priced at ₹1,399.

LiveBox Festival 2022 takes place at The Lalit, Mumbai on September 24th, 5 pm onwards. Get tickets here.
