Polyphia, Demonic Resurrection, Inner Sanctum, Undying Inc. and more Join G-Shock Fireball

The long-running annual festival takes place in Mumbai, Shillong, Bengaluru and New Delhi, along with its flagship edition in Guwahati

Since 2008, Guwahati has looked to open-air festival Fireball to rep the North East’s metal quotient. After hosting everyone from Indo-U.S. prog band Skyharbor to French brutal death metallers Benighted and more. For their 10th anniversary edition, event organizers Rocka Rolla are taking the festival to four more cities between December and March.

G-Shock Fireball’s touring iteration kicks off in Mumbai on December 23rd, followed by the homecoming show in Guwahati on February 24th and stops in Shillong on March 8th, Bengaluru on March 17th and closing with a show in New Delhi on March 31st.

For the 10th anniversary, there’s a heavy-hitter lineup of special performances lined up in each city. The Mumbai edition features a one-off set by extreme metallers Demonic Resurrection, the return of prog metallers Silver Tears, Mumbai groove metallers Zygnema and brutal death metallers Gutslit. Meanwhile, the main draw for Guwahati remains American hip-hop influenced instrumental rock band Polyphia, who will perform alongside Zygnema, Silver Tears and more. The Shillong edition features homegrown bands such as Plague Throat and Dymbur, plus alt metal/rockers Lucid Recess.

Just as DR return for a show in Mumbai, the Bengaluru edition of G-Shock Fireball will feature thrash/death metallers Inner Sanctum performing their first city show since March, joined by death metallers Godless, black metal band Antakrit and metallers Kaihon. The New Delhi edition brings the festival to a close with pummeling sets by groove/tech metallers Undying Inc., sitar metal artist Rishabh Seen and a touch of diversity with rockers Mosko and Lucid Recess.
