American rapper and singer-songwriter Post Malone is coming back to India, performing in Guwahati on Dec. 8, 2025 as part of his Big Ass World Tour. The “Rockstar” hitmaker will perform at Khanapara Veterinary Ground in Guwahati.

Malone—who released his chart-topping country album F-1 Trillion in 2024—makes his second visit to India, after his debut performance in December 2022 as part of the Zomato Feeding India Concert in Mumbai.

Tickets for his Guwahati show will go live on Sept. 20 at 12 pm IST via BookMyShow.

The artist returns to India on the back of more global fame than ever. Previously Malone has been known for his pop and rap hits like “Rockstar” featuring rapper 21 Savage, “Congratulations,” (featuring Quavo) “Circles” and “Sunflower” with hip-hop artist Swae Lee for animated superhero movie Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. In the years since, he’s also featured on pop star Taylor Swift’s 2024 song “Fortnight,” off her album The Tortured Poets Department. Earlier this year in April, Malone headline Coachella festival and dropped a song with fellow American country start Morgan Wallen, called “I Ain’t Comin’ Back.”

Malone’s past collaborations and featured spots have ranged from Beyoncé to Justin Bieber to Travis Scott, Ozzy Osbourne, Chris Stapleton, Dolly Parton and more.

The show, produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live and Live Nation in collaboration with the Government of Assam. It was originally announced by Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in May during a press conference that stressed on the North East state’s push for concert and cultural tourism.

Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC) managing director Padmapani Bora says in a statement, “We are proud to welcome Post Malone, one of the world’s most celebrated artists, for his first and only performance in India. His show is a testament to how India’s live entertainment landscape is rapidly expanding, with Assam emerging as an important contributor to this growth. Through our partnership with BookMyShow, we look forward to creating many such milestones that celebrate the spirit of Assam while bringing the world to our doorstep.”

BookMyShow’s chief business officer of live events Naman Pugalia says in a statement, “Post Malone represents the very best of contemporary global music, an artist whose unique sound and persona resonate with millions across the world. To bring him exclusively to Guwahati is to open a powerful new chapter for live music in the Northeast. By hosting an artist of Post Malone’s stature here, we are not just creating a landmark moment for fans but also showcasing Guwahati’s potential as a world-class destination for music experiences. This is the beginning of a long-term vision where live entertainment becomes both a cultural bridge and an economic driver, placing Assam firmly on the global live music map.”

Malone is stopping by India as part of his Big Ass World Tour with fellow American country star Jelly Roll, which also has stops at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 and MDLBeast Soundstorm festival in Riyadh in December.
