Prateek Kuhad has teased new music on Instagram.
On Thursday, January 4, the 33-year-old Indian singer-songwriter posted a snippet of a tune with the caption, “Incoming.”
This impending release is going to be the “Kasoor” hitmaker’s first release of the year. Kuhad’s plans for the project or single are still unknown.
In December last year, Kuhad released his five-track EP, Mulaqat.
Prior to that, the artist released his chart-topping album, The Way That Lovers Do, in 2022. To coincide with the album’s release, a world tour featuring sold-out shows in the UK, the EU, and India was organized.
In addition to his tour, Kuhad also headlined the first edition of Lollapalooza India. His set was one of the most anticipated performances of the music festival.
Kuhad gained immense popularity after his track “cold/mess” was featured in former US President Barack Obama’s Favorite Music of the Year list in 2019.
“This just happened, and I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight. Totally flipping out. I have no idea how cold/mess even reached him but thank you @barackobama, thank you universe,” the singer tweeted at the time.
He added, “I didn’t think 2019 could’ve gotten better, but damn was I wrong. What an honor.”
