Public Voting Open for Radio City Freedom Awards

Top nominees include Mumbai extreme metallers Demonic Resurrection, hip-hop collective Mumbai’s Finest, rock outfit Daira and more

Here’s a shout-out to indie fans to support their favorite artists! Public voting is now open for the third edition of Radio City Freedom Awards, which includes nominations across a range of categories including Best Hip-Hop Artist, Best Metal Artist, Best Electronica Artist, Best Pop Artist and Best Folk Fusion Artist.

Nominees for the annual independent music-exclusive awards Mumbai extreme metallers Demonic Resurrection for their single “Even Gods Do Fall” off the 2014 release The Demon King; 2015’s Hindi rock breakthrough Daira for their hypnotic trip “Har Subaha” off their self-titled debut, rap collective Mumbai’s Finest and many more.

Public voting will be open till February 21st 2016, with the winners being announced shortly after. Apart from winning by popular choice, bands also stand a chance to win the Jury Choice Award in their respective category.

Radio City Freedom Awards will take place on February 24th at Hard Rock Café, Worli.
