Band reveal another new song slated for next album
Thom Yorke
Radiohead debuted a new song called “Full Stop” at their gig at the First Midwest Amphitheater in Tinley Park, Illinois last night. The song, which they have been playing at sound checks over the past week, is a likely candidate for the band’s follow-up to last year’s The King of Limbs. Like other new tunes the group has been trying out in recent sets, “Full Stop” pushes the dark and densely rhythmic sound of the King material in a more aggressive direction. This number is particularly menacing, with beats that tumble out violently as Thom Yorke chants “the truth will mess you up,” a sentiment that is so very Thom Yorke that it’s surprising it took so long for him to actually sing it.
