The Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced that they must postpone their winter tour of the United States so that frontman Anthony Kiedis can recover from multiple foot injuries.
According to a statement from the band, Kiedis “recently underwent surgery to removed a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot.” The singer is expected to make a full recovery in time for the rescheduled dates, which will begin on March 31st at the Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida.
