Remember Shakti To Commemorate 35th Anniversary with February Tour

Marking the 35th anniversary of groundbreaking world music fusion band Shakti, original members John Mclaughlin and Zakir Hussain will come together with their Remember Shakti band members U. Srinivas (mandolin), V. Selvaganesh (kanjira) and singer Shankar Mahadevan for an India tour in February 2012. The band has also confirmed multiple dates across Europe later in 2012.

While exact details are still being firmed up, the India tour is expected to include Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata. Stay tuned for more details as they come in.
