Following a worldwide release deal of their debut full-length album, The Dawn of Consummation and Emergence [on October 15th worldwide], Mumbai death metal band Reptilian Death will play their first international gig at the sixth edition of Hammerfest in North Wales, UK in March next year.

Reptilian Death will release The Dawn of Consummation and Emergence in October, via American label Old School Metal Records and the band’s drummer Sahil Makhija mentioned working on international tour dates for the band. Says Makhija, “We always knew we had to tour for an album release, but it was a bit late in the day for [international gigs in] 2013 to happen.”

Earlier this year, Makhija sent his band’s music to interested festival organizers even before it could be released internationally. Hammerfest, the annual metal festival sponsored by UK metal magazine Metal Hammer, has Reptilian Death on its bill, performing alongside thrash metal bands such as Kreator [Germany] and Overkill [USA], as well as heavy metal band Corrosion of Conformity [USA], alternative metal band Cypher16 [UK] and Swedish melodic death metal band Soilwork, among others.

Makhija says that Reptilian Death will add more club shows during their UK trip next March. “It’s one of the few fests that happen this time of the year. It looks like there’ll be more club shows and hopefully, festivals later in the year.”
