Rick Ross Teams Up With Dr. Dre and Jay-Z for ‘3 Kings’

No need to watch the throne when you're already sitting on it

Published by

Rick Ross is definitely eyeing some sort of throne with the hopes of sitting upon it himself soon. Or he’s sure he’s already on it: With the much-anticipated release of God Forgives, I Don’t just weeks away, the big Bawse has just dropped the album cut “3 Kings,” which features elder statesmen Dr. Dre and Jay-Z.

It’s pure braggadocio over a big Jake One beat (which Dre tells you, twice, you should listen to through his headphones) with Ross doing his whole rags-to-riches thing (“Homie whipping chickens in his mama kitchen/ On a mission, said he get it for his son’s tuition”), while Jay discusses his art collection (Banksy and Basquiat) and spits about his TJ Maxx-shopping days.

With God Forgives, I Don’t hitting stores on July 31st, Ross remains busy as ever, with the Maybach Music Group head recently revealing his new signee, Chicago MC Rockie Fresh.
