A glimpse of Road to Ultra Mumbai 2023.

Last weekend saw yet another big weekend for music events in India, with the return of Road to Ultra, the event associated with Miami’s EDM mainstay, Ultra Festival. Held on April 14th in Mumbai and April 15th in Bengaluru, the lineup included the quick return of DJ-producers such as Afrojack and KSHMR, plus the India debut of British house DJ James Hype.

Playing to thousands indoor at the Nesco Exhibition Centre, the other artists bringing the energy to Road to Ultra included Siana Catherine, Teri Miko, Cesqeaux, Chico Rose and MYKRIS. While the Bengaluru edition of Road to Ultra was an open-air event – and partially marred by complaints from fans about lack of amenities like drinking water and beverages – the Mumbai edition packed thousands of attendees indoors for a rousing opening gig.
