Rolling Stone India and BUDx Team Up for Live Broadcast of Panel Discussion

The discussion on discovering and managing artists will be simulcast on Rolling Stone India’s social media handles for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram at 6 pm IST

After its successful launch on Wednesday, Budweiser’s BUDx electronic music lab is all set to tie up with Rolling Stone India for a live broadcast its panel discussion on the Art of Management & Discovery in Music on Friday, December 8th.

Created to better understand the rising electronic music scene in the country, BUDx has had a variety of panel discussions over its three days and will see Rolling Stone India‘s Executive Editor Nirmika Singh, artist management agency KRUNK’s founder Sohail Arora, SAAVN’s Srikanth Seshadari and Social’s business head Mayank Bhatt come together to break down the process of finding new artists in indie music and live performance spaces.

As a powerful combination of media, artist managers, A&R reps and event organizers, each of the panelists will talk about their experiences in the indie music scene in India, their journey to their current positions and how they can help independent artists as well as artists managers and aspiring music journalists achieve their truest potential.

Technicalities of particular roles in the industry (for example the differences between being a manager and a booking agent) will also be a a topic of conversation, as well as the importance of platforms like Rolling Stone India and BUDx in helping the growth of the indie music industry via on-ground, print and digital media.
