Keeping with Rolling Stone India‘s commitment to spotlight more diversity in music, we announce our partnership with digital music distributor TuneCore India for ‘Emerge,’ a brand new editorial campaign to highlight regional talent. The aim is to celebrate artists who are independent, authentic, take pride in their roots and showcase it in their work.

‘Emerge’ will profile and chronicle the lives of six breakout artists from across India: Oriya rapper Big Deal, Hindi/Gujarati lyricist Priya Saraiya, Assamese singer Antara Nandy, Bengali artist Rupam Islam, Punjabi musician Gurnazar and Haryanvi artist Vishvajeet Choudhary. Discover more about each artist’s process of making music and why they chose TuneCore to put their music out into the world.
