Rolling Stone India Announces Parx Anthem Hunt

First edition of the fashion brand's band/DJ competition is on the hunt for musicians to soundtrack their style

Bringing together the worlds of fashion and music, casual apparel brand Parx has partnered with Rolling Stone India in the hunt for a unique brand anthem. The nationwide competition is open to musicians from all genres””whether a band, music enthusiast, DJ or composer.

Says Pragati Srivastava, Brand Head of Parx, “We have always been positioned to cater to the needs of our consumers who are looking for dressing up for life across occasions and events. The Parx Anthem Hunt in association with Rolling Stone India is an initiative to acknowledge the budding musicians in the country.”

The brand anthem hunt requires that participants compose an instrumental-only anthem that captures the spirit of Parx in a maximum of 40 seconds. Entries will be judged by a panel comprising actor and musician Luke Kenny, guitarist-producer Func aka Randolph Correia [of Shaa’ir + Func fame] and Rolling Stone India Deputy Editor Nirmika Singh. The deadline for all entries is September 25th, 2016.

Apart from the winning track being used as the official brand anthem for Parx with due credits, prizes also include an exclusive Parx gift hamper and a bumper cash prize. The winner will also be styled by Parx at the the anthem launch party at Hard Rock Café, Worli, Mumbai on October 6th.
