Rolling Stone Metal Awards 2012 Lineup: Providence
Mumbai band join Eccentric Pendulum in the lineup; more bands to be announced soon
Joining Bengaluru prog metal band Eccentric Pendulum at this year’s edition of the Rolling Stone Metal Awards is Mumbai’s very own Providence. The supergroup that recently underwent a lineup change have a couple of surprises in store for their performance at the Metal Awards. Here’s what guitarist Shezan Shaikh had to say about it.
“We’re super excited about the gig. We’ve been nominated in seven categories and we get to perform on the same stage. The audience can expect a tap dance from Aaron on one of our songs. He’s practicing hard for it! A few surprises are on. We are running a few contests and stuff for the 1st of July. We may even debut a new song from our upcoming album!”
The Rolling Stone Metal Awards will be held on July 1, 2012 at the Blue Frog in Mumbai. Watch this space for updates and announcements on the rest of the performers for the night.
